Same-Day Crowns in Omaha, NE

At Armbrust Dental, we strive to stay at the forefront of dentistry so we can improve your patient experience. We utilize advanced, state-of-the-art technology that allows us to perform treatments that are more efficient and more comfortable than ever before. We take great pride in offering CEREC® dental crowns so you can get a beautifully restored tooth in just one visit!

CEREC Technology

CEREC stands for Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics. This technology lets us design, create, and apply tooth restorations in a single appointment. Our machine employs advanced digital imaging software to create a 3D model of your crown. We can make these highly detailed images without taking messy impressions.

What is the CEREC dental crown procedure?

First, we’ll remove some enamel from your tooth and reshape it to ensure the crown fits properly. Then, we’ll design your custom dental crown using our software. After, we’ll move on to the milling process. We’ll choose a ceramic shade that closely matches the color of your other teeth. Then, we’ll place a block of crown material into our in-house milling unit. In about 15-20 minutes, it will shape the material to be an exact match of the digital model.

The last step is placement. We’ll bond your custom dental crown to your tooth, polish it, and check the fit as well as your bite. Since we create your crown in our office, we can make any necessary adjustments right then and there.

What are the benefits of CEREC?

CEREC offers a variety of benefits for patients compared to traditional dental crowns, including:

  • You don’t have to take time out of your schedule to visit our office for multiple appointments. We can complete the entire process in the same day.
  • Since there isn’t a waiting period between designing the crown and the milling process, you won’t have to wear an uncomfortable temporary crown.
  • We use 3D software, so you won’t have to deal with messy impression trays.
  • With CEREC, you can quickly restore your tooth so you can get back to enjoying a beautiful, confident smile sooner.

Is the material used for my crown made in-house the same as from a good lab?

Yes, our in-house milling unit uses high-quality, durable material to make your same-day dental crown. One of the many perks of creating the crown in our office is that if there is an issue with the crown, we can make you another one. We’re dedicated to ensuring your dental crown fits well, looks great, and functions like your existing teeth!
